Lay a cotton pad or a soft piece of cloth (just a piece of buckram or a towel) and apply some nourishing cream or an emulsion on your face. If you didn't just come from the bath and haven’t washed yourself, proceed with gently rubbing the front of your neck, the top of your chest, the underside of your chin, and your face. Then dab your cotton in emulsion cream and place it on your face, chin, and upper chest. Cover creamed surfaces with a damp towel for half an hour. Dampen the towel with cold water.
In half an hour, rinse your face with ice-cold water.

If you have very dry skin or you wish to prevent wrinkles, repeat the procedure twice a week.
