Great home-made masks for your face
Rub milk on your face with a cotton pad. Keep it on for 15 minutes and wash of with lukewarm water.
1 spoon of yeast
½ a spoon of fruit juice (needs to be freshly squeezed)
1 tsp of lemon juice
1 tsp of orange juice
1 tsp of carrot juice
1 tsp of olive oil
Mix everything together and keep on face for 15 minutes.
A good mask for every skin type, especially for tired and pimply skin. Add more oil for very dry skin. Yeast accelerates blood circulation and gives a fresh complexion.
Make a soft blend of barley flour, pea blossoms, and rosewater. Apply it on your face and keep on for 30 minutes. This mixture will leave your skin especially soft.
Mix 1 spoon of oat flour and a spoonful of milk with a few drops of corn oil. Keep the mask on for 15 minutes.
Boil and mash carrots and turnips. Keep the mash on your face for 10 to 15 minutes and wash off with milk. This mask will leave your skin clean and fresh. Carrots contain a lot of vitamin A and turnips calm your skin.
Mix 1 spoon of potato juice and 1 spoon of soapwort blossoms, then apply mixture on your face. Potatoes contain vitamin C and clear your face of pimples. Soapworts clean your skin of filth and oil. Soapworts are usually grown as garden flowers, but it occurs in the wild too.
Mash 3 strawberries and use the mass as a mask. Wash it off 10 minutes later with rose water. Strawberries are slightly acidic, contain vitamin C, and have a good cleansing effect on skin. Mash half a peach and mix with 1 spoon of cognac. Perfect for very oily skin.
